Server hostname

Operating system

Use a hostname such as server.example.com. A new domain is not required.

Control panel and licence

Server management

cPanel requires AlmaLinux 9. Paid management requires AlmaLinux 9 and cPanel. Complete management provides managed access instead of root access.

Server location

Offsite backup

Complete management includes offsite backup according to the selected plan. Backup is separate from disk redundancy.

Reason for additional IPv4 addresses

Disk layout

RAID 1 mirrors two drives and reduces usable capacity. It does not replace an offsite backup.
